The Barns

At the heart of Alfriston Gardens, the meticulously restored Century Barn creates a stunning, versatile space ideal for receptions. A new mezzanine, complete with reclaimed theatre seating, provides extra lounge space and unique photo backdrops.

A further building, the Woodland Barn, was skilfully integrated using traditional techniques and measures an impressive 24m x 8m; perfect for hosting large events and celebrations for up to 155 guests. Natural light streams in through its skylights, and a bi-fold glass wall opens onto the decking and gardens, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.

Features include bespoke lighting, air conditioning, heating, a PA system, and a fully equipped catering kitchen and bar, ensuring every detail is covered for your event.

Vine Lodge

Welcome to our modern meeting room, situated within our luxurious Vine Lodge, designed for up to 8 guests. Enjoy ample natural light and high- speed WiFi for seamless communication.

AV equipment is included, and to enhance your meeting experience, we offer an optional catering service. Whether you require a light snack, coffee, or a full meal, we can cater to your preferences and dietary requirements.

Vine Lodge is perfect for productive meetings in a spacious, well-equipped environment.

Oak Lodge

A multi-functional space suitable for hosting a range of events. Whether it’s indoor receptions, corporate away days, seminars, or wellness retreats, the options are limitless.

Equipped with WiFi, with the option of AV and PA hire, organising your corporate event has never been easier.

Furniture rental is inclusive, and we’re flexible in configuring the space to your specifications. Our venue can comfortably accommodate up to 70 seated guests or 100 standing. On-site catering services are available upon request.

The Gardens

Set within two acres of the stunning grounds bording the South Downs National Park, our gardens were designed by RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist, Juliet Sargeant.

This incredible beauty forms the perfect backdrop for location filming and photography, as well as providing a tranquil getaway for wellness retreats.

With subtle outdoor lighting throughout, our gardens are suitable for daytime or evening events. You can even see The Long Man of Wilmington from our wildflower glamping meadow yet another feature that makes Alfriston a special and unique venue to welcome your guests.

With luxury accommodation for up to 58 guests, our exclusive-use venue is ideal for corporate retreats and special events requiring overnight stays. Set against the scenic backdrop of the South Downs National Park, our on-site lodging combines convenience, comfort, and elegant interiors, surrounded by beautiful gardens and rolling hills.

Our diverse accommodation options include nine en-suite Shepherd Huts for a unique glamping experience, a stunning standalone cottage complete with kitchen and living quarters, and fourteen modern bedrooms spread across our contemporary Lodges.

We offer a variety of room types, including twin rooms, doubles, and spacious family rooms that sleep up to four guests. Additionally, our venue features two fully accessible bedrooms, and all accommodations are beautifully furnished with bespoke décor and luxurious en-suites.
